Thick Triple Band Biblical Handmade Leather Platform Slip-on Sandal
Updated slip-on biblical sandal with three thick double-stitched leather bands and black rugged soles.
The Ruth leather slip-on is a rugged style that features three wide bands anchored to a wide tongue that sits in the center of the instep.
The rounded tip of the leather tongue is stitched on top of the first band and is decorated with a double row of raised dots. The second and third bands are woven through four loops on the tongue. All three leather bands are top-stitched in double rows on each side. The Ruth biblical slip-on features a rugged platform sole for extra support.
Note: The Ruth slip-on is a new style. Please allow up to 15 days for your hand-sewn sandal to be finished.
The Ruth rugged slip-on is an updated version of leather sandals that have been discovered at archeological sites in Israel dating back more than two millennia. One can easily imagine our ancestors in ancient Israel wearing similar footwear.
Camel Sandals' leather biblical styles are comfortable enough to wear almost anywhere, and are well made to last the wearer for years. All of Camel's styles, whether slip-on or fastened around the ankle, feature uppers made of thick, sturdy leather and molded arch supports for comfort and quality.
The biblical sandals are handmade in the Holy Land by skilled leatherworkers, who stitch and glue the leather uppers to natural rubber soles by hand. Any of the styles of Camel's biblical leather sandals can be ordered and made in sizes for men, women, and children.
