Located in the Upper Galilee, the Galil Mountain Winery, one of the top Israel Wineries, has produced the Meron 2009 which is deep purple in color, with a display of characters of red cherries, blueberries and wild berries, complimented with a hint of oak, with a long velvety finish and silky texture, this kosher wine goes well with a leg of lamb, sirloin or matured flavored cheese. Beginning with a cold and dry winter, the grapevines were able to receive the required dosages of cold temperatures they required for hibernation. Towards the spring, several rainstorms created ideal conditions for uniform vine arousal, accelerating the growth from the start of the season. This uniformity then continued as the grapes ripened which therefore contributed to the good quality that characterized the harvest.
