This is a wine that combines fun and complexity! While the wine is excellent now, Gamla's Reserve Tempranillo will benefit from bottle aging and become more gratifying for seven years, or more. Try the wine with beef stew, fire roasted lamb -as well as with tapas, as they do in the small Bodegas of the Iberian Peninsula.
Gamla "Reserve" Tempranillo 2010,is made entirely of grapes which are grown in the vineyard at Moshav Yonathan at 700 metres above sea level on the Golan Heights. This variety is used to produce the greatest wines of Spain. The grapes were harvested at night and fermented and fined in the traditional Spanish manner for robustness. The wine was then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, to add just the right amount of complexity.
Gamla Reserve Tempranillo 2010 is a special wine hand crafted in very small amounts. The 2010 vintage is the first vintage wine made from Tempranillo in Israel. This wine will not last long - we have limited quantities available on a first come - first served basis.
