Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon is characterized by fruity aromas of ripe red and black forest berries, and earth aromas of spice, chocolate, tobacco with a subtle herbaceous top note. The wine has highly concentrated aromas and flavors. It is a full bodied wine with a long and pleasant finish.
This Fine Strictly Kosher wine was marvelous when released in 2005, but has evolved and benefited from bottle aging for several years of 10 years or more.

The winter before the vintage started cold but with below average rainfall, but late precipitation made total rainfall average. Winter ended with warm March and April weather; this caused early awakening in the southern Golan vineyards. May weather was cold weather, which postponed of the start of harvest. The hot weather at the end of October progress sugaring, but rains in early November delayed the end of harvest to November. These conditions produced some of the best wine in Israel’s history.
Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from the fruit of the winery's finest vineyards which are located in the north and center of the Golan Heights and one unique micro-clime in the Galilee hills. This wine was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
