The pride of  Israel's Golan heights Winery is produced  under their premium label:Yarden. This Yarden 2006 Chardonnay Israeli wine is redolent with fruity aromas of Quince, pear, orange blossom, lemon peel, as well as tropical fruit. This strictly Kosher wine is completed  with oak aging  and spice aromas, characteristic  the finest Chardonnays.

The wine is Full bodied with  complex aromas and flavors and an uncompromising elegance. 
Yarden Chardonnay is ready to drink upon release, but improves with bottle aging for  up to 7 years after the  wine's vintage when properly stored.  this wine of  Israel is the ideal accompaniment for a variety of spicy dishes. The following is an unusual recipe that is perfect served with Chardonnay: Chop fresh tomatoes, scallions (spring onions) , fresh cilantro, sweet green peppers, garlic and virgin olive oil. Cook with cuts of fresh chicken or veal on a low heat  half an hour, then finish them uneder the broiler on grill over wood coals. Serve with the sauce  and generous glasses of Yarden Charconnay. 
The Winter preceeding the 2006 Batzir was unusually warm and  dry. There was little rain early in the season causing concern in Israel and for our winery managers.  In April of that year, Israel and especially the north was blessed with ample rainfall which raised the amount to 90% of the average year. Relative cool continued though the end of July. This delayed the wine harvestby about ten days. These mild conditions made that years White Israeli wines some of the best ever. 
This delicious, complex Chardonnay Israel wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes  vineyards in the the coolest regions of the Golan. The vineyards, are located height more than 1200 meters above sea level, producing the finest Chardonnay grapes, year after year. This  wine of Israel is  fermented and aged in new oak barrels. 
The vineyards are planted  on this volcanic soils from 400 meters to 1200 meters above sea level . The Golan Heights Winery is located in the town of Katzrin the central Golan.
