King David established the City of David 3000 years ago when he moved from Hebron to Jerusalem and made it the capital city of the tribes. The First Temple was built next to the City and consequently the City of David became a hub of activity in that period. Excavations are continuously being conducted and some incredible finds have been discovered to date. One such find was a proto-aeolic capital and column, carved out of a single stone, with spiral designs to resemble the Tree of Life, is believed to have belonged to a royal structure, King David's palace. Jewish jewelry designers have a very close connection to our rich history and have found inspiration in this capital and have designed this arresting set of earrings with the spiral design like the one found on the capital.
