This piece of Kabala Jewelry is one of eight necklaces which are based on a group of formations of crop circles found in various places in the world. This particular necklace design is called Lights of the Universal Spirituality.
The necklace is beautifully made from silver beads and is based on a crop circle found in England in 2009. On the inside of the swirl is a black jewel which is believed to create personal awareness and detect insights for spiritual development. It also creates a mechanism of self enrichment from knowlege of our universe. In addition it’s believed to find the connection between the universe and our spiritual development.
The 13 beads forming the spiral differ in size starting from large in the center to small on the tail end. Each silver bead has either a hammered silver design or features one of the main kabbalah symbols to create a striking design. The symbols seen on various parts of this Kabala pendant are called the angelic writing (The writing of Malachim), which is supposedly derived from the constellations of the stars. It is found in most writings of early Kabala (also spelled Kaballah or Kabbala) scholars.
The crop circle is known to be spiritual and sometime their origin is unknown, thus creating the sense that they were made by UFOs. Therefore, the Israeli artist who created this Jewish jewelry took the crop circle design and added meaning from the Kabala.
Kabala (also written Kaballah or kabbala) is the study of Jewish mysticism. It talks about the mystical powers that exist in the world, and the special meaning of each object. Because of its mysticism, Jews are forbidden to study it, but some of the ideas written are known and used in our daily lives. The artist who designed this spiral silver necklace was influenced by the spirituality and beauty learned in the Kabala (common misspellings: Cabala or Cabbala). There are many other Kabala-based artifact made as part of Judaica jewelry.

The literal translation of the term Kabbalah is 'receiving.' This refers to receiving the hidden mystical truths behind Jewish thinking and Jewish traditions.
According to Kabbalistic tradition, knowledge of Kabbalah was transmitted orally by the Patriarchs and sages. Initially Kabbalah was widely studied by pious Jews who wished to understand the mystical aspects of the connection between man and G-d. Eventually the sages feared that the secrets of Jewish mysticism may fall into the wrong hands during foreign conquests or may be misinterpreted by unknowledgeable students. It was therefore decided to reserve the study of Kabbalah to pious and knowledgeable students over the age of 40.
This has been the case for over 2000 years until recently when a renewed interest suddenly appeared. Now Kabbalah is being studied by many people all over the world including famous celebrities. Jewish mysticism has begun to attract the attention of the masses as they search for hidden wisdom and meaning in turbulent times. With these unique jewelry designs, we provide the opportunity to connect with the ancient powers of Jewish mysticism.
