Number of important points you need to know about the tallit:
Choosing the type of fabric:
As noted above, the prayer shawl
is now produced in three main types of fabric: wool, acrylic and silk:
Wool: The vast majority of men are buying and using wool shawls made from 100% Lamb wool. Most opinions are that this is the prefered Tallit to wrap themselves in. Therefore, this is the most common tallit. It is wool shawl that is the standard in the Halacha.
It should be noted that after much thought and effort, we have developed a light wool shawl. The uniqueness is a special weaving method, this makes a Tallit with low weight that is thus more light and airy. This is a tremendous advantage, in feeling comfortable in daily life and in the heat.
Also this model is also available a very large prayer shawl, called a light tallit, as its name implies, it is light, airy and comfortable while praying.
Another development is the tallit, Tashbetz' which uses a special technique and blend of tartan wool, this stabilizes the tallit on your shoulders and prevents the falling of the tallit.
Acrylic: These shawls less expensive due to the type of fabric. Note that our acrylic shawls Kosher under the supervision of the Chief Rabbinate of Tel Aviv.
Please note: when adding special futures to the tallit, customization is made, custom products are created just for you therefore we cannot accept returns or refund.
