Big Handmade Mezuzah Scroll Adhaz Special
Kosher , checked by Computer and sofer (certified scribe)
In general a Jewish household can be identified by the mezuza on the doorpost. We are commanded in the Bible to put a mezuza on the doorpost. The first two chapters of the Shema prayer are carefully and painstakingly written by a Sofer Stam, a scribe, on parchment which originates from a kosher animal. If the mezuza has been printed it is not valid. This mezuza is mehudar, meaning that it is aesthetically beautiful and it has been written with extra precaution so as not to miss any letters. Once it is ready the parchment is rolled up placed into the case. The blessing is recited before putting the mezuza onto the doorpost. It should be placed as close as possible to the outside of the door but still remaining inside the doorframe.
