A large 15cm Mezuza written in Nusach Arizal custom, following the custom of Rabbi Isaac Luria from the 16 century and adapted by Chabad Chassidim.
Kosher , checked by Computer and sofer (certified scribe)
Written on a piece of parchment, the klaf, the Scribe painstakingly and carefully writes by hand the first two verses of the Shema prayer. Each letter has to be clear and properly formed so as to be certified kosher. The Scribe is a pious and learned man who has learnt the laws of Mezuza.Once the verses have been written and checked, the klaf is then rolled and placed in a decorative protective case and placed on the doorpost at an angle. It is this case that we kiss as we enter or leave the room. The mezuza is our constant daily reminder of our love and belief in God. The mezuza being on the doorpost of the house, also acts as protection against evil.
