I want to thank you and your staff for all you did to help us select and receive the beautiful miniature kiddush cups. We purchased these for our seniors who are residents of the Kobernick-Anchin campus here in Sarasota, Florida who previously had been using plastic cups! We dedicated the new kiddush cups at our Kabbalat Shabbat service - residents held the cups with such joy, they loved the Jerusalem design which reminded them of long-ago visits to Israel. Several residents with Alzheimer's spoke up, some for the first time in months. Thank you so much. Rabbi Barbara Aiello, resident rabbi, Kobernick Campus, Sarasota, FL
Blessing Over Home Silver Colored Aluminum Mezuzah
Provide your home with an elegant and reverent way to display your mezuzah with this beautiful aluminum mezuzah case that features a home blessing intricately printed in Hebrew on the outside, with the letter "Shin" in the center.
This incredible, magnificent aluminum Judaica mezuzah case features a carefully-crafted design that showcases a Jewish home blessing prominently displayed on the front, along with the Hebrew letter for Shin, giving it a reverent appeal that perfectly matches what is inside.
Mezuzahs are found in Jewish homes, and contain a parchment paper with specific Hebrew verses written on them. These verses are used to comprise the Shema Yisrael prayer that begins "Hear, O Israel, the LORD (is) our God, the LORD is One." These parchment papers are written by special scribes known as sofer stams. These scribes have undergone extensive training spanning years, and use indelible black ink and special quill pens for the actual writing. Once the parchment is written, it is then placed inside a decorative case, which is then hung from the doorways of Jewish homes in accordance with mitzvah of Deuteronomy 6:9.
