They wear like iron!
Decorated with elegant silver plating embossed with stunning religious motifs (the Star of David, Menorah, and a cluster of grapes - one of Israel’s seven species of produce), this distinctive Yemenite style shofar horn is an integral part of the High Holiday celebration.
The traditional shofar horn that is used by Jews during Rosh Hashana and the high holiday period can be made from the horn of any kosher horned animal, but you won’t find one as strikingly beautiful as this! Made in accordance with Yemenite tradition, this kudu horn shofar is a beautiful Judaica item to own. The two tubes of silver plating that decorate this stunning shofar are engraved with fine textures and religiously significant motifs: the Jewish Star of David, combined with the Menorah; and a gilded grape cluster on the judaica item's vine.
The shofar is a special horn used during the Jewish high holiday period - most memorably, it is sounded during the morning prayer service of the Rosh Hashana / New Year holiday. Over the course of the service, the shofar’s calls are heard a total of one hundred times.
