The story is told through magical realism, fitting well with the mindset of Moroccan immigrants to Israel some of whom are never comfortable giving up the belief in magic that they or their parents brought from Morocco.
This film is a Moroccan legend charged with all the magic of that genre. It is a modern fable based on fragments of reality taking place in a small town in Israel today.
The strange love triangle between Rama, who runs the family according to superstition, her husband Robert who is obsessed with another, and the ghost that haunts them; Marie, the beautiful sister of Rama, who died in pain, under ban, because of her love for an Arab fisherman.
