2003. A kibbutz is in crisis and heavily in debt. In a last effort to save the vitality of the community, the older 'unproductive' founders are being ousted to make room for younger, more productive new members. The falling apart of the system mirrors the intersecting dramas that surface when several inhabitants are no longer able to hide their secrets. When lies and affairs of the heart come to light, it causes two families to face the past and what can never be undone. Against the background of a collapsing system (a metaphor of an Israel bereft of socialist ideals) and the stresses of aging, No Longer 17 deals with adultery, long-hidden secrets and family tumult. A touching drama about the fears of aging and life's choices, featuring moments of genuine emotion from a strong cast. Isaac Zepel Yeshurun directs this sequel to his popular 1982 Israeli film Noa at 17. Voted the Best Israeli Film at the Haifa International Film Festival 2003
