The third of Mosh Ben Ari’s albums, this one was a sure winner. Named Wonder and Sharing (Masa U’matan), the rich and unique voice of this talented Israeli musician will have you singing along. The album was released in 2006 and was produced by Globalev World Music-Israel.+The Israeli composer was brought up in a Yemenite and Iraqi Jewish household in Israel, thereby influencing his taste in music. Growing up, he would listen to the traditional Jewish and Yemenite songs, and at age sixteen decided to learn music. Since then he has learned in many countries, including Sinai, India and Sahara, and mastered exotic and Middle Eastern string instrument, such as the Turkish jumbush, the Indian sarod, classic and acoustic guitar and bass. His music is a mixture of Middle Eastern and Israeli tradition, giving the songs a unique and ethnic sound. In 1997, Ben Ari, along with some friends, started a band named Sheva, which was his first musical endeavor. The band released four albums, including their hit song Salaam (Peace) which became globally famous.He later embarked on a solo career, releasing his first album in 2001.+The thirteen songs comprising this album are all sung in Hebrew, the Jewish and Israeli language, while the style is a wonderful blend of rock, world music, reggae and soul.
