Someone to Run With, is an adventure story that take place in the side alleys of Jerusalem and narrates about a young boy trying to follow the footsteps of a young girl. Assaf is an introverted high school teenager. During a summer job that his father got for him at the city hall, he is given Dinka, a female Labrador retriever which have been found wandering around down town. He is being asked to follow her in the hope she'll lead him to her owners. In his searches, Assaf learns about the existence of Tamar, the dog's owner. Dinka leads him to images in Tamar's life, which apparently is in grave danger. The story then branch out and we are taken back in time to the events since her disappearance. During the movie, the plot jumps back and forth between Assaf's efforts in finding Tamar, to Tamar's journey in achieving her goal. The movie is based upon the best seller of David Grossman, that tells about a story of maturation and love spiced with suspense and adventure.
