Remember and honor the life of Shimon Peres by planting a Tree of life in Israel. Impact the world for the better in this way, just as he impacted the world positively. In his honor you will be bringing life to the holy land and bringing green to the land of Israel.
Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Shimon Peres was a great leader and a wonderful voice in the world towards peace. A public figure since the beginning of the State of Israel, he was for a time Prime minister, President for many years, and foreign minister during the Oslo accords with the 1993 Israeli-Palestinian agreement negotiated with Yizhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat which earned them the Nobel Peace Prize. Always on the side of peace, his politics reflected his moral beliefs and his focus on peacefulness and good relations both in the region and with Anglo countries led the Queen in 2008 to make Mr. Peres an honorary knight. An advocate for Israeli settlements at first, Peres soon became a big advocate for the left wing ideals, and is a prominent figure in the left wing. His tireless efforts toward peace in the middle east have caused great sorrow worldwide at his passing. President Obama and Theresa May (The British Prime minister) have expressed their sadness over his death, and Prince Charles will be attending his funeral. The world has lost a great man and a symbol of peace, and there could be no better way to honor him than to make a positive change in Israel in his name.
