Holocaust
The Holocaust, known in Hebrew as The Shoah was the systematic annihilation of European Jewry, and other minority groups in Nazi controlled Europe in the 1930s and 1940s. The Holocaust ended with the surrender of Nazi Germany and the end of the Second World War in 1945. Six million Jews were killed during the Holocaust, including entire communities, and over one million children. The Holocaust stands as the greatest Jewish tragedy in recent history, with entire Jewish communities being wiped out. Jews were murdered in pogroms, herded into ghettos where they were starved and beaten and finally shipped off to concentration camps to the gas chambers and death marches. It is so important to learn about the Holocaust, both the numbers and facts and the individual stories. We sell a large selection of Holocaust literature, both fiction and nonfiction. We stock many personal tales of Holocaust survivors, including those who were child survivors, written down in order to preserve their memories. We also have books covering topics such as Stolen Nazi Art, the Warsaw Ghetto, Holocaust poetry, Nazis and medicine and music in Nazi Germany. These books and many more are delivered internationally, and at the lowest online prices.
