These Israeli sandals are themed on the Talaria of Greek mythology, the magical winged sandals belonging to the Greek God Hermes. Made of leather and with a comfortable rubber sole, they feature an ankle strap with wings pointing backward from each side of the ankle, and the front straps are slender, leather, and decorated with a scalloped edge and dot holes in the scallops. Absolutely love these sandals! The wings are a cool touch but subtle enough to be wearable with everything and not look cartoony. I was surprised at how comfortable they are. I wore them when I marched in the Indianapolis 500 parade with no rubbing or blisters at all. They will definitely be packed on my warm weather trips.
