A beautiful example of Israeli wine, this Kosher Mehadrin dry red wine by BENHAIM family winery is an ode to the superior conditions of wine grapes grown in the upper Galilee region in Israel. Made mostly out of Merlot grapes, the wine is balanced out with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, all harvested meticulously by hand on Mount Meron before an aging period of 24 months in select oak barrels. A full bodied wine, this beautiful reserve features aromas of raspberry and cherry, against a black tea background.

Beginning in 2001, all winery wines are kosher for Mehadrin, supervised by the Upper Galilee Regional Rabbinate, Ramat Hasharon Rabbinate, the International Kosher Committee, OK, Badatz Beit Yosef and Rabbi Dov Landa.
The wines are not cooked.
