Description

This is a full bodied, pleasant and favorable dark red Israeli wine with hints of butter, characters of sour cherry, herbs, violet blossoms, plum and notes of oak. It aged 12 months in French oak barrels and underwent 10-20 days of fermentation. It consists of varieties of Syrah, Petit Verdot, Barbera and Cabernet Franc. The wine is ready for immediate drinking but it will also age well for three to five years from harvest time. The wines gets its incredible flavor from the fact the winter before 2010 was unseasonably warm, spring began two weeks earlier then normal. The budbreak began earlier and so everything was moved up and harvest began two weeks earlier. The summer months were exceptionally hot which accelerated the process which in turn lead to fruity wines that had fantastic burst of flavors.
