This full bodied, well balanced kosher wine with a pleasant and long lasting finish, from Galil Mountain Winery is the perfect wine to serve with rich meat meals such as roast beef, lamb or sirloin. The Galil Yaron 2009 is a deep dark purple colored wine with prominent aromas of blueberries, raspberry jam, purple plum and mulberry. It has a seasoned background of allspice, cacao and is rounded off by a touch of mint, honey and toasted oak. Although the wine is ready to drink now, it will age well in the bottle for five to seven years from the time of harvest. The cold, dry winter and the rainstorms towards the spring, contributed to the good quality of the harvest.
