Description

Layered with characters of French oak, spice, cocoa and flowers this wonderful wine hints at bright cherry and cassis fruit notes. Two well-known Portuguese blends, the Touriga Nacional and Tinta, which give this Israeli wine its fantastic flavor. The grapes have been aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. The winery and vineyards are situated in the northern parts of Israel, known as the Galilee. The Golan Heights are considered the coldest part of the country and snow generally falls in that region in the winter months. The harvest began in the first week of August after a warm April and was completed in October. The vintage was characterized with lower then average yields but with good quality vintage.
