Made solely from the grapes in the Odem Vineyard situated in the northern part of Israel, the Galilee, this Yarden Chardonnay wine will make a great accompaniment to slow roasted chicken with wild mushrooms, pasta in a chardonnay cream sauce or a wonderful herb crusted slow roasted chicken or salmon. Since 1998 the vineyard has been farmed organically in the Golan Heights in an elevation of 1200 meters above sea level with annual snowfall in the winter months. December was wet and cold but it was followed by four dry warm months. May to October saw cooler than normal months. While the harvest began late it lasted only 12 weeks but it resulted in a superb vintage. The Israeli wine is ready to enjoy or to be kept for future occasions.
