Description

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet varieties, the Duet wines are thought to be the signature wine of Ramot Naftaly’s Winery, a well-known Israel Winery. The Duet is composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet. The grapes were harvested and a long fermentation process was required to extract all the grapes sugars, both varieties were done independently. The 2000 liter wooden barrel was made by the Italian Garbellotto company and it is unique in that the wine is only slightly altered and the intense flavor of the grapes is kept. Just before the wine was bottled, 5% Petit Verdot was added to the wine. The Cabernets aroma is felt together with the Merlots softness. The wines’ color is a deep red purple with an intense flavor and is the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
