The ring starts off thin at the bottom of the band, and slopes up, thickening as it goes, and showing off the wondrous Rafael jewelry design etched out. It leads up on both sides to an exquisite Eilat stone, recovered from mines set in the southern area of Israel.
Eilat stones contain snippets of other minerals, which is what gives it its distinct design and appearance.
