This unique Star of David Necklace has a modern touch in to it along with the old-made with Roman Glass. The Romans created the glass using different materials to get the desired color for the jewelry. For example, they used copper to create turquoise to light blue. After the end of the Roman Empire, these pieces of Roman glass were left in the ground where they lay exposed to nature -sun, rain, heat and cold. This exposure changed the face of the glass and created a unique wrapping of layers called patina where each layer went through its own changes.
