An artistic and classically designed Sterling Silver Judaica candelabra for use during the Jewish Hanukkah holiday. In Israel, the Hanukkah candelabra is called a “Hanukiyah,” but it’s more commonly known as a Menorah. The back panel has beautiful floral cutout designs, and the base is inscribed with a verse from the Hanukkah candle-lighting blessings: “Hanerot halalu kodesh hem (these lights are sacred)”.
On the annual wintertime holiday of Hanukkah, Jewish people commemorate an ancient miracle by lighting eight candles in a special Menorah candelabra - one for each night of the holiday. Two thousand years ago, after reclaiming the Temple in Jerusalem from ancient Greek subjugation, the Jewish people discovered that there was not enough pure oil remained to light the Temple’s seven-branched candelabra, the official Menorah. However, G-d performed a miracle and the small flask of pure oil lasted for eight days.
