Ordered a shofar last December and it was delivered ON time to Uganda. I would like to mention the wonderful customer service skills of Avi. He was very professional and kind. I was a little skeptical to order and trust that the shofar would arrive before New Years, but he reaffirmed my faith in humanity because the shofar arrived ON time.. I am very pleased with shopping on this website and most of all very very happy to have my shofar which also matched the description. I will be ordering again and recommending this website to family and friends.
Purple Floral Tallit Prayer Shawl by Galilee Silks
A vibrant, feminine purple dyed silk tallit from Galilee Silks, with hand painted blue and magenta hued floral designs. Your beautiful prayer shawl comes with a matching headcovering and storage bag for ease of transportation to the synagogue/temple and back.
A striking, feminine purple silk Tallit, hand dyed and painted by the Israeli artists of Galilee Silks. Featuring hand painted blue and magenta floral designs, this vibrantly colored silk prayer shawl is the perfect fit for the progressive worshiper. On the four corners of this garment are knotted white tzitzit, and the Hebrew words of the blessing recited when donning the tallit are printed on the shawl’s atara panel. Great for an egalitarian wedding or bat mitzvah ceremonial gift.
In Judaism, the word “prayer” evokes images of Jewish people cloaked in cloth shawls, swaying back and forth as they pray to G-d. Those shawls are tallitot, and are worn each morning during the Shacharit prayer service. Many bnei and bnot mitzvah don the tallit for the first time during their coming of age ceremony in synagogue. In Sephardic circles, they’ll continue to wear the tallit daily for Shacharit from that point forward, but in Ashknazic Jewish circles, the tallit is not worn full-time until one’s wedding.
