This is a Seder Plate with a twist. Shraga Landesman, one of Israel’s well-known Judaica artists, uses biblical verse together with modern designs to create this wonderfully different Seder Plate. It is made with brushed anodized aluminum and in the middle it has been pushed back into the Star of David shape and reveals underneath a wooden core. The verse “Hanitzavim niru ba'aretz; Et hazamir higia (Buds have appeared in the Land; the time of the nightingale has come” from Song of Songs written by King Solomon about the beginning of spring is appropriate as Passover is celebrated in Israel when Spring begins.
