I want to thank you and your staff for all you did to help us select and receive the beautiful miniature kiddush cups. We purchased these for our seniors who are residents of the Kobernick-Anchin campus here in Sarasota, Florida who previously had been using plastic cups! We dedicated the new kiddush cups at our Kabbalat Shabbat service - residents held the cups with such joy, they loved the Jerusalem design which reminded them of long-ago visits to Israel. Several residents with Alzheimer's spoke up, some for the first time in months. Thank you so much. Rabbi Barbara Aiello, resident rabbi, Kobernick Campus, Sarasota, FL
Big Kiddush Cup and 6 Small Turquoise Cutout Yair Emanuel
Sitting on a tray emblazoned with silver pomegranates, this 24 cm by 20 cm set of six kiddush cups with a seventh goblet is a beautiful addition to your Judaica collection. These fancy turquoise cups are handcrafted by well-known Israeli artist Yair Emanuel.
Sprung from the imagination of Yair Emanuel, and born in his Jerusalem studio, this set of 7 kiddush cups brings a touch of class to any Shabbat table. There is a tradition where the kiddush is said with the wine in one goblet, which is then shared among smaller cups. This unique piece of Judaica allows the owner to live that tradition.
The turquoise color of these fancy cups is reminiscent of the Kinneret where the tomb of Rachel (wife of Rabbi Akiva) is situated. These cups are embraced by branches of silver pomegranate trees. The pomegranate is a symbol of all 613 mitzvoth. While not a kiddush fountain, these cups will bring sanctification and holiness to any Jewish occasion.
From Jerusalem to your table, we hope that these kiddush cups will become a family heirloom for generations to come.
