I want to thank you and your staff for all you did to help us select and receive the beautiful miniature kiddush cups. We purchased these for our seniors who are residents of the Kobernick-Anchin campus here in Sarasota, Florida who previously had been using plastic cups! We dedicated the new kiddush cups at our Kabbalat Shabbat service - residents held the cups with such joy, they loved the Jerusalem design which reminded them of long-ago visits to Israel. Several residents with Alzheimer's spoke up, some for the first time in months. Thank you so much. Rabbi Barbara Aiello, resident rabbi, Kobernick Campus, Sarasota, FL
Red Colored Anodized Aluminum Kiddush Cup Hammer Work
Manufactured by the Artist Yair Emanuel, this red Kiddush cup features a tapered design on the body and base. It is highly polished and also has a hammered pattern on the base.
This Judaica item is a beautiful red Kiddush cup that will make the reciting of the Kiddush on Shabbat a joyous occasion. It is made from anodized silver and polished from top to bottom to make it shine at your table. The top and base section of the cup are tapered and have round edges. The base also features a hammered pattern that was done by hand on a nickel plated surface. This piece is a lovely wedding gift idea.
On Shabbat, everyone gathers at the table for the evening meal. It is traditional to fill the Kiddush cup with wine, raise the cup, and then recite a Kiddush (translates to “sanctification” in English) on it. After the blessing, a sip is taken then handed over to everyone at the table to take a sip too.
Yair Emanuel is an artist with an impressive collection of Jewish art that he makes at his studio located in Jerusalem. He is famous for mixing old and new styles with vivid and harmonious colors to make some of the most enchanting pieces in Judaica.
