This unique Kiddush Cup Goblet has an elegant, reflective studded diamond crosshatch design engraved on its surface, as well as the Hebrew phrase “Borei pri hagafen,” which comes from the Kiddush blessing over wine. This beautiful silver plated goblet stands approximately 12.5 centimeters in height. Also included in this Judaica set are a matching saucer, embossed with a charming grape and vine pattern along the rim, evocative of the kosher grapes used to make the Kiddush wine, and a functional, protective cup liner intended for reuse.
Kiddush is a ritual recited on the weekly Shabbat, and Yomim Tovim (other Jewish holidays), comprising of a series of blessings over wine or grape juice. The final blessing is the source of the Hebrew phrase, “borei pri hagafen,” in which we thank G-d for “creating the fruit of the vine,” grapes, used to make wine or grape juice.
