He won many writers awards like The Berner prize, Usishkin Prize and even Priminister prise for best israeli writer of the year.

A a good reading level for lower intermediate probably an easy read for intermediate students of Hebrew. Interesting stories to keep interest I have read several of the Gesher books. I am so glad they are available. Since I left Israel it is very hard to get reading material at my level I can read
