The Weeping Springtime Balad is a Film by Benny Toraty. The action begins twenty years ago with a tragic bus accident, which kills 2 members of the Turquoise Ensemble, creator of the Weeping springtime Symphony.

Driving to the first performance of their new composition "The Weeping Springtime Symphony", a tragic accident occurred killing two band members.
Mufradi, Tawila, and his lover Margaret survived.  Tawila, as the driver, was convicted of vehicular manslaughter and sentenced to prison for several years. Upon release he moved to galilee, and opened a bar. With that he still dreams of his life as a musician.
The story begins with Amram,  Mufradi's son, report to Tawila that his father, Avraham is dying of cancer. He gives Tawila the musical notes from "The Weeping Springtime Symphony". Amram tells Tawila that his father wishes to hear the symphony they composed together, before his time comes to die. Tawila decides to journey into his past and reunite the group of musicians of the old band, to fulfill the last request of his friend and maybe to heal his tortured soul.
