Stand alone armour, or as it is known, STA, have heavier and thicker plates as there is no need to add panels or bulletproof vests as the STA is strong enough to stop bullets on its own. They are made of high-quality body armour and reliable enough to withstand common gunshots threats, rifles or handguns.
